The late lamented Old Doc40 Comments, so unrelatedly related, has also been down for weeks. Any chance of its return?

This may unfortunately be a case of all things must pass, but I do recall that the old comments board was preserved by use of The Way Back Machine, and also that one reader downloaded and saved it it as a piece of found art. A rescue operation is probably beyond my capabilities, but all help and ideas will be welcomed.

So how much is my original (bit tatty) Mayflower paperback worth now? It was 60p back in the day...
it's a really good read, and i highly enjoyed it. a rarity: non-science-fiction farren novel. yet still somewhat fantastic!
I've heard tell of clean copies of Willy's Rats going for as high as $50 which, of course delights me since that and six bucks would buy me a latte (if my lips ever touched such a thing.)
